Robin Roe

THE Reverend Robin Roe, who has died aged 81, played rugby for Ireland and the Lions and was awarded a Military Cross (MC) for his courage in Aden while an army chaplain.

Peacefully, in Guildford aged 81. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held in St. Peter's Church of Ireland, Mountrath, Co Laois on Sunday August 15, 2010 at 4pm.
